入社を決めた要因を3つ教えてください。What are the three factors that made you decide to join the company?
①社内の雰囲気が非常に良い
とても活気のある会社だな、と思ったのが最初の印象で、それぞれが、お店をより良くするために意見を出し合い、実行にすぐ移す姿を見て、自分も仲間になりたいと思いました。また、社員のみならず、どの店舗のアルバイト達も仕事に対して真面目な人が多く、指導が行き届いているのが特徴的でした。
②社長との距離がとても近い
1番の入社のきっかけは、塚原社長との出会いでした。
大学を中退した自分でしたが、縁があり、お会いして話をする機会をいただき、そこで、会社の方向性や理念を聞き、その熱意に心を打たれました。
今でも、月に一度、全社でミーティングを行い、社長と直接お会いする機会が設けられています。そこで都度、社長の仕事に対しての熱量を感じられ、それに応えられるよう今の自分の位置に慢心せず、日々スキルアップを目指して頑張っています。
③離職率の少なさ
離職率の少なさには驚きました。また辞めたあとも、自分のお店を持ち、アイランズで培った力を活かして次に繋げている方が多いです。自分も後々はそうなれるように、今はこの会社で多くのことを学んで吸収しています。① The atmosphere in the company is very good.
My first impression of the company was that it was very energetic, and when I saw how each employee shared his or her opinions to improve the store and immediately put them into action, I wanted to be a part of it. I also noticed that not only the employees but also the part-timers at each store were very serious about their work, and they were well instructed.
② Very close to the president
The first reason I joined the company was my encounter with President Tsukahara.
I had dropped out of college, but I had a chance to meet and talk with him, and when I heard about the company's direction and philosophy, I was struck by his enthusiasm.
Even now, we have a company-wide meeting once a month, where I have the opportunity to meet the president in person. I can feel the president's passion for his work at each meeting, and I am working hard to improve my skills every day without being proud of my current position so that I can respond to his passion.
③ Low turnover rate
I was surprised at the low turnover rate. I was also surprised at the low turnover rate. Many people who have left the company have gone on to own their own stores and are making use of the skills they developed at Islands. I am now learning and absorbing many things at this company so that I can be like them later on. -
仕事のやりがいや、醍醐味は？What is the most rewarding or exciting part of your job?
お客様とのコミュニケーションです！
アイランズのお肉を食べてもらい、美味しいと笑顔になってもらえたら、何もいうことはありません！自分たちのお肉にもちろん自信はありますが、笑顔になったその光景や、感想などお話を交えることで、この仕事、会社に入って良かったと思います。
今の自分は新進気鋭でお客様の前に立ち、焼かせていただく事が多いので、より間近でお客様の反応が見れるので、お客様とのコミュニケーションがやりがいとなっています！It's about communicating with our customers!
If we can get them to eat our meat and smile at how delicious it tastes, then there's nothing we can say! Of course we are confident in our meat, but it is the sight of them smiling and sharing their impressions that makes me happy to have joined this job and this company.
Now that I am an up-and-comer and often stand in front of customers and grill for them, I get to see their reactions up close, which makes communicating with them so much more rewarding! -
新しく仲間に入る人に求めることを教えてください。What are you looking for in a new person joining your group?
素直さ、発言力、やる気。
素直に話を聞き、吸収する力があれば、どんどん自分の力に出来、レベルアップ出来ます。
言われた事をただこなすのではなく、感じたことや、こうした方がいいと思ったことなど、仲間に発言できる方に入社いただけると、会社全体のレベルアップにも繋がります。
あとは、やる気が有ればなんとかなります！Honesty, ability to speak up, and motivation.
If you have the ability to listen and absorb what is being said, you will be able to make it your own and improve your skills.
If you can speak up and tell your colleagues what you feel and what you think should be done, rather than just doing what you are told, you will help raise the level of the company as a whole.
All you need now is the will to do something!
